The Amarakosha, compiled by Amarasimha, is one of the most celebrated and widely referred lexicon in Sanskrit literature. This course introduces students to the Manushya Varga from the second Kanda of the Amarakosha, which presents synonyms and classifications related to human beings, their identities, relationships, occupations, stages of life, and qualities. Under the guidance of Dr. Venkatasubramanian P, learners will engage in guided recitation and reading practice, gaining a deeper understanding of Sanskrit vocabulary connected to human life.
