Mukapanchashati was composed by Sri Muka Shankarendra Saraswati, the 20th Acharya to adorn Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham. Born without the ability to hear or speak, the Acharya was miraculously blessed with the power of speech through the grace of Goddess Kamakshi. With heartfelt devotion, he then composed 500 exquisite verses in praise of the Goddess, which came to be known as the Mukapanchashati. In this course, Smt. Srividya Ramakrishnan will explain the first 100 beautiful verses called "Aryashatakam".
