Description:

Muka-Panchashati was composed by Sri Muka Shankarendra Saraswati, the 20th Acharya to adorn Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, Tamilnadu. By the grace of Goddess Kamakshi, the Acharya, who was born without the ability to hear or speak, was miraculously endowed with the ability to speak. Humbled by this miracle, he wrote 500 beautiful verses in admiration of the Goddess, which became famous as the Muka-Panchashati. This course is the second part in a series of 5 courses, each part covering approximately 100 shlokas or 1 'shatakam'. In this part, Smt. Srividya Ramakrishnan will be taking up the Padaravindashatakam, the second set of 100 verses showering praises on the lotus feet of Devi.
