Shabda leads to the generation of Shabdabodha, which is the cognition of the relation (sambandha-jnana) between the meanings (padartha-s) conveyed by words (pada-s). Rooted in the Nyaya-shastra tradition, Shabdabodha is central to understanding how sentences produce meaning. This is the sixth course in the series of Tarkashastra courses through Vyoma Samskrta Pathasala, which aim to provide in-depth, authentic shastra knowledge through contemporary technology and teaching aids. Taught by Dr. Sathyanarayana C T, it introduces students to the foundations of Shabdabodha through the study of pratyaya-s (suffixes) and their meanings, providing a structured approach to grasping the sambandha-s among padartha-s.
