Description:
India is home to one of the world's oldest continuous knowledge traditions, with a rich intellectual heritage that has evolved over centuries. This vast body of knowledge spans diverse disciplines such as philosophy, language, mathematics, astronomy, medicine, governance, arts, architecture, and environmental thought. Over time, changes in the educational practices led to a decline in the systematic study and transmission of many of these knowledge traditions. Today, there is renewed interest in exploring this heritage from academic, historical, and interdisciplinary perspectives.
This course, led by Prof. B. Mahadevan, offers a structured introduction to Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), presenting key concepts, texts, and contributions across various domains. Designed as a gateway to Indian Knowledge Systems, this course helps learners discover the richness and diversity of India's intellectual traditions, inspiring them to delve deeper into its vast and enduring repository of knowledge. This course is highly beneficial for Corporate Professionals and students of Management studies.
This donation will go towards Sponsoring young learners to help them to Learn Introduction to Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) - Rediscover the Timeless Wisdom of Bharat
